Dr. Baliko’s professional journey reflects his dedication to the well-being of his patients and his commitment to continuous learning and skill development. His education and training have laid the foundation for his specialized focus on treating patients with bone, joint, and soft tissue injuries.

Graduating with Honours from the New York Chiropractic College in 2007, Dr. Baliko holds certifications in both Ontario and the United States. His registration with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) and memberships in the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) and the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) demonstrate his adherence to professional standards and ongoing involvement in the chiropractic community.

Dr. Baliko’s treatment approach combines traditional chiropractic techniques with deep tissue therapies including Active Release Technique (Spine, Upper Body, and Lower Body) and Graston Technique (GT). Dr. Baliko is committed to collaborating with his fellow health care professionals to create a truly integrated, diverse and effective program of care for his patients.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Baliko maintains a healthy and active lifestyle, participating in activities such as bike riding, hiking, fishing, and playing golf. Dr. Baliko is a dedicated fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, and he enjoys attending games at the Roger’s Center.

Dr. Alan Ali

Chiropractor and Acupuncture Provider

Dr. Alan completed his Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the Faculty of Life Sciences at McMaster University, after which time he decided to pursue his career in chiropractic. He completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.

Dr. Alan has also completed his certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University, as well as in Integrative Acupuncture Professional Practice Certificate from York University. Dr. Alan is also certified in Neurokinetic Therapy Level 1 and GLA:D Knee/Hip OA Programs. He continues to further his knowledge base by taking advanced manual therapy courses and volunteering his time within the profession.

Dr. Alan utilizes manual joint and soft tissue techniques, acupuncture, modalities as well as rehabilitative exercises to help patients decrease pain and restore function to the affected muscles, joints, and nervous system. Dr. Alan is active member, in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and is also a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Ontario Chiropractic Association.

“Hi everyone, my name is Piraanavan Kathirgamanathan but I also go by Perry! I’m a Resident Physical Therapist here at Core Health Care. I received my Masters of Physical Therapy from Western University after completing my Bachelors in Human kinetics at the University of Guelph.

I’ve built my foundation as a clinician by taking on roles such as a Varsity Student Therapist, Anatomy Outreach Coordinator, and Physical Therapy Student Council President. While practicing as a Physical Therapy student I’ve seen a wide variety of patients including OUA athletes, OFSAA athletes, post-op surgical patients, retirees, and all members of the general public.

Hope Corrente, Registered Kinesiologist at Core Health Care, is committed to guiding her patients on a path to a healthier and more balanced life. Specializing in optimizing movement and helping individuals unlock their full potential through personalized exercise interventions.

Hope graduated from Durham College with a Diploma in Health and Fitness Promotion and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. Hope is a member of the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario and is currently studying nutrition.

Jessica Triumbari

Jessica Triumbari has graduated from York University with a Specialized Honors Degree in Kinesiology. Following her undergraduate studies, she decided to pursuit a career in Massage Therapy and earned her diploma at Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy.

During her studies she worked at several community outreach programs and specialty clinics around the city of Toronto. Such programs include High Risk Obstetrics at Sunnybrook Hospital, Gynecological and Pelvic Floor Post-Operative at Toronto General Hospital, Pre-natal and Pregnancy clinic, Seniors clinic, Mental Health Transitional Homes, and a community Stroke Club. Through her experience Jessica has learned the benefits of massage therapy both physically, mentally, and emotionally for a range of populations and ultimately what the power of touch can do to heal others. In clinic, her massages typically consist of Swedish techniques, PNF stretching, deep tissue and trigger point therapy.

Fun Fact: During her undergraduate degree Jessica assisted in conducting research alongside a Registered Kinesiologist and continued to co-write a journal article determining the effects of plyometric training and treadmill training on the prevention of ACL tears in young female soccer players.
In 2017, she and her colleague presented their findings at the World Conference on Science and Soccer held in Rennes, France.

After this experience Jessica grew a passion for research and a love for travel. She hopes to one day conduct research on the benefits of massage, yoga and well-being and travel to another conference around the globe.
